How to identify an item is e-waste?
All electrical and electronic equipment that is #disused and no longer in use. E.g. TV sets, refrigerators, washing machines are considered e-waste.

What are the dangers of e-waste?
These toxic substances enter the body through inhalation or ingestion and can be hazardous to #HumanHealth , leading to nerve damage, poor brain development in children, and even teratogenicity! It also has a serious impact on the #NaturalEnvironment ! In the presence of microorganisms, inorganic mercury is transformed into methylmercury, which enters the body through enrichment in the food chain, causing chronic damage to the brain, respiratory system and skin diseases! 
Why do we need to recycle e-waste?
E-waste contains #PreciousMetal that can be recycled! For example, televisions contain copper, iron, glass and plastic. In addition, 75% of TV components are #RecyclableMaterials !
To ensure that e-waste is recycled in a more systematic and safe manner, we at #TBM is more than up to the task!
The Malaysian Department of Environment (DOE) also encourages the public to recycle their e-waste by bringing it to the DOE Collection Centres. We are proud to be certified by the DOE as an e-waste collector.
