By recycling 1 million mobile phones
, we can extract:
Over 35,000 lbs of copper
Over 700 lbs of silver
75 lbs of gold
33 lbs of palladium
(1 lb = approx. 453 grams)
35,000 lbs = approx. 15,875 kilograms
In simple terms, on average, one mobile phone can yield around 15 grams of copper !
Nowadays, everyone has at least one mobile phone, and the rate of use and disposal are proportional. If everyone correctly recycles their unused phones
, the resources will be recovered, and we will also significantly reduce our #carbonfootprint, making a substantial contribution to the 
planet!
